DEREK'S FIRST COMMUNION Sunday, May 18 was a special day for Derek Frempong in his journey through the Catholic faith. Derek celebrated his First Communion at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Scarborough. The Church was filled to its full capacity with friends and family memberS to witness this day. In all, there were twelve candidatess that received the First communion. Father Michel was the officiating priest and whose style of conducting the celebration captivated the audience with laughter. After the celebration family friends went to entertain themselves at 55 Greenbrae Circuit at a reception to honour the day. Derek is the son of Elizabeth and Kofi Frempong of Okyeman Cultural Association of Toronto. C O N G R A T U L A T I O N-DEREK !!!!!! |
